0f7366d6d0 Correcting our background painting code per the latest CSS specs. By default, backgrounds should be painted to the border 
area, and not the padding area as per the CSS 2 Errata, CSS2.1 and CSS3.  Also, implementing the CSS3 'background-clip'
and 'background-origin' properties (currently with -moz- prefixes) to control this behavior.

e25496d35f Bug 113083. Concentrate view setup code into a few shared functions in nsContainerFrame. Only change style-dependent view properties after style change, not during reflow, in response to nsChangeHint_SyncFrameView. Change 'clip' to only do SyncFrameView, not reflow. r=dbaron,sr=kin

b7194a0ea8 Replace the BodyFixupRule with code in nsCSSRendering to fix all the problems with dynamic style changes and backgrounds on the root element and the BODY element. Make the line list doubly linked and access it through a list class and iterators.
Stop recomputing margins on all of the children of each block in the reflow chain (which causes O(N^2) state recovery during incremental reflow).  Instead, add a second dirty bit to the lines and walk backwards through the line list to recompute vertical margins only when either dirty bit is set and the previous line was not reflowed.  Add nsIFrame::IsEmpty to identify frames through which margins collapse.
Fix O(N^2) propagation of float damage by maintaining a set of intervals damaged by floats (bug 61962) and be sure to damage the correct areas (bug 48138).
Introduce nsCollapsingMargin to do correct collapsing of combinations of positive and negative margins (bug 50142).
Clean up some odds and ends and fix another smaller O(N^2) problem in nsBlockFrame::AddFrames.

e5cd366545 Fixed CreateViewForFrame() to check for a block-level frame with 
'overflow' set to 'hidden' and force the frame to have a view. This
way child frames with views are clipped correctly

c84deb6d8c Fix 32199 (visibility:collapse is not being interpreted as hidden on block and inline level elements) and parts of 21701 (misuse of style attr mVisible). 
In the following files, replacing disp->mVisible with disp->IsVisible() is a BUG FIX: nsBlockFrame, nsBulletFrame, nsHRFrame, nsHTMLContainerFrame, nsImageFrame, nsTextFrame.

In all the other files, replacing disp->mVisible with disp->IsVisible() or disp->IsVisibleOrCollapsed() is merely a SYNTACTICAL CHANGE. The respective owners will later review the use of IsVisibleOrCollapsed() and in some cases replace it with IsVisible(). See bug 21701.

1b8f60a970 Backing-out previous change which had the effect of getting rid of the widgets for *all* fixed positioned elements. Removing widgets is a goal at term but it's something that we want to leave to the View Manager folk(s) or at least do in sync with them.

ebcb5ad836 18163 "Use of fixed positioning in style sheet corrupts display". Don't create empty widgets for fixed positioned elements in order to avoid problems in the View Manager (GetDrawingSurface) where we end up copying uninitialized bitmaps to the screen. The main reason for fixing the bug here instead of within the View Manager is that we'll get rid of widgets altogether over time.
