d436ad454d Bug 224829 - docshell should not require non-gecko interface nsIBrowserHistory. This was fixed by introducing a new interface nsIGlobalHistory2 to replace the current nsIGlobalHistory. There are two-way adapters so that the frozen interface still works. r=biesi sr=bz a=mscott for toolkit/ changes.

fed2927b2c Create a new xpcom obsolete library (and component library). 
Moved nsFileSpec and related classes into this obsolete library.
  Moved nsRegistry and related libreg functionality into the obsolete library.

Updated many callers using the obsolete nsFile spec to use nsIFile and Necko to do file IO.

Combined the following DLLs (source -> dest)
  uriloader -> docshell
  shistory -> docshell
  jsurl -> jsdom
  gkview -> gklayout

Moved nsAdapterEnumerator out of xpcom/ds and into mailnews, since they're the only consumer

Modifed the xpt_link tool so that you can specify a “only include” cid list that can mask CID’s that you are not interested in.

Added build options:
Prevent the building of xpinstall (--disable-xpinstall)
Prevent the building js component loader (--disable-jsloader)
A build option to only build a single profile (--enable-single-profile)
A build flag to only built the required xpfe components (--disable-xpfe-components).

Removal or hiding of unused functions and classes including nsEscape*, nsDequeIterator, nsRecyclingAllocatorImpl, nsDiscriminatedUnion, nsOpaqueKey, nsCRT::strlen, NS_NewCommandLineService

40f7d1b02e 115922 embedding work. no changes should be observed in current product this will only affect the embedded effort. This moves the command handler stuff from content xul to embedding/components/commandhandler. a=judd r=saari built on mac/windows/gmake with this we will be able to finish removing editorshell from the app and have a true embedded editor.akkana will pick this up after me and finish the embedding work.

edfdaaa3a8 General cleanup of the shared library rules. 
Quick fix for bug #36844.
Since people kept forgetting to wrap SHARED_LIBRARY_LIBS inside MKSHLIB_FORCE_ALL & MKSHLIB_UNFORCE_ALL pairs, we now handle it in rules.mk.  Same goes for making $(SHARED_LIBRARY) dependent upon $(SHARED_LIBRARY_LIBS).
