4688fbfc0a Bug 239929 - Porting semi-single-profile from the aviary1.0 branch to the trunk. This is using the argv-restart method right now (a child process). This will be changing to an xpcom-restart process soon. Code by me, Ben Goodger, Darin, Scott M., M. Kaply, and others. xpfe/appshell code r=danm sr=brendan (bug 244106).

814bf90c4c fix for #137886. Detect defunct previously migrated profiles and offer to re-migrate. 
this is pref controlled, "profile.seconds_until_defunct.  by default,
we'll never offer to remigrate.  initial patch by ccarlen.

684c7dab18 remove special-case activation code for hidden window, let the OS do it. punts hidden window offscreen on mac so it can be visible yet of non-zero width/height for osx. bugs 70355/70388. r=danm/sr=hyatt.

13b61ed851 Changed nsIAppShellService and nsIWindowMediator to talk in terms of nsIXULWindow instead of nsIWebShellWindow. Also removed the function nsIAppShellService::RunModalDialog since windows should be created using the nsIDOMWindow::OpenDialog. r=danm a=jevering
