0a518ff5d3 some hacks (and ifdefs) for macOS until NSPR gets fixed. This at least allows us to test out libReg and find bugs.

009b854b1f changing mac name of default registry file to "mozilla registry" in order to not conflict with old nscp versions and not have the name "netscape" in any of our code.

79654fb86d Removing static makefiles as a part of the transition to Autoconf. I have taken great 
care to only remove makefiles affailiated with building nglayout. I have also verified that
the build at this point in time succesfully builds with autoconf.

If you must recover one of these makefiles, you can use the static tag STATIC_MAKEFILES.
If I removed a makefile that you need, please e-mail cyeh@netscape.com.

3a45a3dc3a Removed some MKLINUX & MACLINUX ifdefs. Replace a couple with (defined(linux) && defined(__powerpc__)). 
Added glibc ifndefs to strdup declarations.
Fixed problem with stderr under glibc 2.1.

909945b91f Sync'd various Makefile.ins to their Makefile counterparts. 
Removed nspr & nspr20 from REQUIRES.  Removed NSPR_LDFLAGS.
Changed LIBNSPR refs to NSPR_LIBS.
Removed leftover NSPR20 ifdefs.

06d57ca345 NO_NSPR_PRIVATE_HEADER_BRANCH landing. Removed the inclusions of 
private NSPR headers (prosdep.h and primpl.h) from the Mozilla source.
The part of prosdep.h that is actually needed by Mozilla was extracted
and put in the new file mozilla/include/xp_path.h.
