dfa08e19a2 Checking in fix for annoying asserts on startup caused by a doctype token problem in the parser that was introduced yesterday, casting char * to PRUnichar * just aint a good idea (although that was only part of the problem). Fix done mostly by heikki@netscape.com, r=heikki, harishd, sr=me.

3e62b3f9f3 Changes to parser to allow less copying. Use of the new nsSliding[Sub]String classes so that tokens can hold substrings that keep references into the scanner buffer. Cleaned up token interface and general string usage. r=harishd,heikki sr=jst

77a2d6896f - Fix for nsbeta3+ bug 10292: ID attribute information is passed up from the parser to the content sink and into the node info objects associated with content objects. nsIXMLContent now inherits from nsIStyledContent which allows 
authors to use ID selectors to target elements in an XML document.

- Checking in a P3P related patch to the pres shell, html document, and xml document from Tom Lendacky (toml@us.ibm.com)

a3e274d547 Added AppendSource() into keep the semantics of

1cd0327569 Bug fix 2749 - Tweaked comment handling in quirks mode. 
Bug fix 15992 - Line breaks within script and style were not getting counted
Related to bug 15423 - Rectified a glitch in Nav. DTD code where a doctype tag
                                         was opening up a body.
Userdefined tags are now treated as containers.

a81177003d Checking in the first stab at error propagation from the expat parser to the content sink. The flow of control is as follows. The tokenizer creates an error token (CErrorToken) when an error occurs in expat and pushes it onto the token dequeue. The DTD forwards the contents of the token to the content sink, which creates content objects to show the error.

4a76768a22 Added XIF Support. XIF is a Netscape internal XML format which is 
designed to allow for easy conversion from the NGLayoutContent model
to other formats. It's primary focus is to allow easy conversion to
HTML3.2 and HTML4.0 formats. Other formats may be supported in the future.
