d6b987e7bf fix for bug 119923 - split nsIChromeRegistry into 2 interfaces, one that is XUL-specific 
this way we can implement an minimal chrome registry for embedding, that doesn't support all the wacky skin- and locale-switching goodness of XUL.

51b17b5bf0 Bug 88413: Remove |GetUnicode()| from nsString (and replace it with |get()|). r=dbaron, rs=scc. 
This removes all call-sites I can currently fix. Tomorrow I'll try to get someone to checkin my changes to security/ and I'll get some help with the Netscape side of things.

nsString::GetUnicode()'s final death-blow will be dealt soon. Please keep this in mind as you add new code :-)

5c5c39e4be Landing url parsing branch. 73845. r=alecf@netscape.com, sr=darin@netscape.com, a=blizzard@rednat.com. 
This fixes many crashes caused by illegal uses of the nsStdURL.
This also allows a plugable protocol to provide their own url parser.

ae967ed36e XPInstall part of fix for bug 65678. Now we're writing the list of files 
to be replaced/deleted to a special registry file. When the program exits,
nsSoftwareUpdate::Shutdown kicks off the platform-specific utility that reads
this file and does the dirty work.
