91543218bc First cut at removing manual declaration of interface methods in implementation classes and replacing with xpidl-generated NS_DECL_NSIFOO macro. 
Hopefully this'll help turn the copy-n-paste tide towards using this macro.

ad40dbfcd5 includes updates to codbase matching security checks currently turned off 
but in place.  redefined the script security manager in caps and it is
now generating codebase principals.

1999447bdb Changes to the xpidl compiler - 
Error if an interface is declared [scriptable], but contains methods that can't be scripted because they refer to native-declared types, unless the method is declared [noscript].

This change is intended to make it easier to determine when an interface is not scriptable, and to make it easier to see what changes need to be made to make it scriptable.

As many of the .idl files in the tree defined [scriptable] interfaces that contained non-scriptable methods, I've sprinkled [noscript] throughout.  As the interfaces weren't scriptable anyway, this shouldn't change their visibility to javascript.

695d359ba6 change the nsIDirectoryIterator::Init interface to match the nsDirectoryIterator ctor: two paramenters, a file spec and a bool for resolveSymlinks. pass in PR_TRUE in the pref and component manager code. this fixes the problem where prefs wouldn't get loaded on the mac!

43391c2dca Separate the widget and gfx toolkits into two variables. 
Instead of MOZ_TOOLKIT, we now have MOZ_WIDGET_TOOLKIT and MOZ_GFX_TOOLKIT.
There is also a new configure flag, --enable-gfx-toolkit which does what its
name implies.
The configure script should continue to work as before.

8b1231e0ae Renamed OnStartBinding/OnStopBinding to OnStartRequest/OnStopRequest (removing the redundant ones from necko). Numerous necko fixes. Necko now using nsIPrompt interface instead of nsINetSupport.

bdb06601d5 make the default of of the "browser.startup.page" be 3, so that we use 
the new "browser.startup.splash" pref.

set the default for "browser.startup.splash" to be http://www.mozillazine.org, until
bug #7417 gets fixed.

d019f9ce2b Fixing the broken situation when no prefs file exists. Since there is a problem with stream closing after nsFileStream(nsIFileSpec*), cleaning up this code so that we dont write/read/init/write the prefs. Now we simply init/write. 88a6f93e78 Alias resolution makes directory iteration tricky: You can't use SetLeafName to convert one sibling to another. Fixing parsing of pref-init files, which broke when I fixed aliases a while back.
