b13ec379be fix for bug #381216: 
prevent bookmarks dataloss when a user goes from Firefox 2, Firefox 3 beta, Firefox 2 and then back to Firefox 3.

0855679a54 re-enable bug #387996: add a "Places" folder to the bookmarks menu, populated with smart folders 
the refcount leaks, Ts and Txul regressions should be better, using tinderbox
to verify.
