7f5c9e373e part of Bug #245430 --> thunderbird static build support. 
Get rid of the mail\config packaging of chrome into dist\thunderbird. Let the installer do it as part of the
packaging process.

519c5b4dc8 Until I can think of a better way, use platform specific versions of installed-chrome.txt and copy the right one based on the current platform over to dist\thunderbird\chrome\installed-chrome.txt. This isn't going to scale very well for OS2/OSX/etc. I'm not sure what to do about that yet. 
Polish up the mozilla\config stuff to make it work for unix. Some of this came from Alexander Sack. Thaks for the great work Alexander!
