7788ebd4ed Bugs 67887, 67893, 67882, 68185, 73160, 77923. Added support for XHTML base href and target attributes, meta http-equiv and link href. Fixed the blank page bug when xml-stylesheet PI did not contain href attribute. Fixed getElementById() to not match XHTML name attribute. This fix also includes some minor cleanup. r=nisheeth, sr=vidur.

175245e2de Relanding Necko Changes. 
Revising nsIChannel to allow for overlapped i/o. This consists of three parts:

1. Factoring nsIChannel into a protocol specific part, the nsIChannel, and a socket specific, the nsITransport.
2. Derive the nsIChannel from a nsIRequest.
2. Changes the notification system from necko and the URILoader to pass the nsIRequest interface instead of nsIChannel interface.

This goal stems from wanting to be able to have active AsyncRead and AsyncWrite operations on nsSocketTransport.
This is desired because it would greatly simplify the task of maintaining persistent/reusable socket connections
for FTP, HTTP, and Imap (and potentially other protocols). The problem with the existing nsIChannel interface is
that it does not allow one to selectively suspend just one of the read or write operations while keeping the other active.

77a2d6896f - Fix for nsbeta3+ bug 10292: ID attribute information is passed up from the parser to the content sink and into the node info objects associated with content objects. nsIXMLContent now inherits from nsIStyledContent which allows 
authors to use ID selectors to target elements in an XML document.

0f0b4d6367 Changing the way content elements store their name information, previously the elements generally stored a name atom and a namespace ID, now they store a pointer to a shared structure containing the name atom, the prefix atom and the namespace ID. This structure is shared between nodes with unique names (ie same name, prefix and ns ID) within a document. Documents now hold a hash table of the names in the document. The changes to mozilla/rdf are not reviewed but they are approved by waterson@netscape.com and the changes to mozilla/layout are reviewed by buster@netscape.com.

8a6a52bef1 1) Added support for loading an XML document "out of band" from script and manipulating it via dom interfaces.
