9500bda665 further fixes for bug 112708 r=bnesse sr=dveditz 
instead of using PR_smprintf to construct each user_pref line to the preferences, store it all in a smart cconcatination string - reduces pref allocations at shutdown by 3x

c0b306795b Make nsSharable[C]String writable by overriding appropriate methods. Ensure that it doesn't store null buffer handle pointer internally, and override get() on nsXPIDL[C]String for backwards-compatibility. Collapse nsSharedBufferHandle and nsFlexBufferHandle into nsSharedBufferHandle which knows its length but can't have a storage start distinct from its data start.
