Use 3 different stage sites to deploy the maven site, the top level plugins site and each plugin site.
Without that when you do rsync on the maven site, you also update/overwrite the web site of each plugin.

MAVEN-1733 : set maven.compile.fork=true. It seems to reduce the number of times when the bootstrap fails because it can't delete a directory. It's a known problem in java and ant : See the windows note on http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTasks/javac.html
