9f69a02164 PR: MPDIST-11 
<extends> dependency is resolved in dist:build-src.
It now requires artifact-plugin-1.7 (ie maven 1.1).

9bb30e2889 Remove plugin-plugin dependency for m1.0.2 compatibility. 
Keep a warning about the artifact-plugin 1.3 in the documentation,
but, being rather old, this is not checked for in plugin.jelly.

 o this issue is far from closed needs some more like properties for controling

82dbe2daa8 use maven-model-1.1-SNAPSHOT 
This should remain backwards compatible with 1.0.x, with the exception of ChangeLog - there is a TODO to resolve this.
