dion a16d28f12d Added maven.junit.format property that defaults to brief. 
Changed formatters to use maven.junit.usefile consistently.
        Only set 'dir' property of junit task if fork != 'no'

jvanzyl 2f79ac3020 o remove the use of maven.xdoc.version, the new maven:property tag is being 
used within the xdoc plugin to create a default value from the POM if one
  isn't supplied.

jstrachan f2643277b2 A patch so that the test plugin can use the test classes directory - rather than just the test source code directory - for searching for unit test cases to run. 
The default behaviour remains unchanged - however this new feature allows other languages which compile down to bytecode - like Groovy - to be used and found by the default unit test run.

This mechanism could also be useful if other test classes are copied or code generated into the target/test-classes directory etc.

jvanzyl f29424087c o Resolving all snapshots in plugins 
o Bumping all plugin version to release status
o Validated all plugins to make sure all snapshots were removed.

  I had to manually insert the versions for:

  1) ashkelon
  2) commons-dbcp

  Not sure how either of these got up there without the timestamp
  mapping.

bwalding 89182f3b8c o MAVEN-323: eclipse needs to be able to access the test plugin's dependencies. This tag forces test plugin to be loaded when eclipse plugin is run.
